Geraldine Hoff was born in Inkster, Michigan. Her father, Cornelious was an electrician, who died of pneumonia when she was 10 years old. Her mother, Augusta, was a composer influenced by scoliosis.
Shortly after stopped working as a blend met and married Geraldine Hoff dentist Leo Doyle, as she was married until his death in early 2010.
